More than one thousand persons possess arrived in Trincomalee district under the education of SL presidential sibling and Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa to overpower the polling in the forthcoming provincial elections within the East in favour of the dominating United Peoples Freedom Partnership (UPFA), informed sources in Trincomalee told TamilNet Friday.
Expenses of meal and lodging of these men and women are to be borne by the SL Monetary Development Ministry.
Most of these persons have already been brought down from Colombo,Lebron 10. These are being distributed to eleven Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Trincomalee district at Hundred persons per DS department.
More than eighty percent of voters in the DS divisions of Padavi Siripura, Gomarankadawela,Lebron James 10, Seruwila, Kanthalaay and Morawewa have become Sinhalese due to demographic changes in the recent decades.
In the meantime, Namal Rajapaksa, a new son of SL president plus a parliamentarian from Hambantota, is also in Trincomalee area in mustering support to the dominating UPFA candidates by organizing classes for youths using the resources in the Colombo regime under the guise of growth projects now being executed in the district by several non-governmental companies such as NECORD,Lebron 10 For Sale, NEIAP and NECCDEP.
