Six students from the University of Communication will go to the conventions as people the credentialed media, working together with some of the most renowned journalists in the world from such major marketing outlets as ABC, Abc, NBC, CNN, Fox News Funnel, The New York Times, United states of america Today and The Wall Road Journal.
WRHU students will produce long form and small form reports and meetings, which will air on WRHU Eighty eight.7 FM and WRHU.org. Records from the conventions will air on WRHU 88.7 FM week day mornings from 7:00 am to 9:Double zero am during Hofstra Morning Wake Call, weekday afternoons through 5:30 pm in order to six:00 pm during Newsline, plus weeknights at 8:00 pm during special convention computer programming.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will provide your student journalists with up-close experience the political process, the opportunity to network with professionals for their field, and experiences that will help prepare them for their future jobs, says School of Transmission Dean Evan W. Cornog.
